VideoGameReview-Nablopomo-ARC1-Super Mario 64
November 8, 2009
When i had an N64, this would be one of the only games i would play ( next to Zelda:OoT). This game is unlike all the other marios because in each mario game before this, you had to go to a level automatically, with the exception of Super Mario World, but even then you couldnt free-roam and in this one you could. You would roam a giant castle in search of Power Stars to gain more power in order to save the princess. These stars were in Magic paintings throughout the castle. One thing that made this game awesome for its time, is that you dont just complete a level by jumping on a flag pole, you pick a quest to do before you go in the level, and for example, you would race a penguin on a mountain of snow, or fight a big-bomb, or solve puzzles in a haunted house. This game can be quite challenging at times or be a breeze.Another thing is that it was the first mario game to be 3D and 64-bit ( Mario: legend of the 7 stars wasnt 3D and was only from a birds-eye-perpective). On another point, the N64 sparked a whole new perpective on games and graphics, gameplay, and controls, aswell did the ps1. Ok, so in the end its a amazing game with great graphics ( for its time) a bit overdated now but no one really cares, the puzzles ,races, and challengeds this game provides you will keep you at it for hours on end, and its just awesome. I give it a—————> 9.9/10_____not a complete ten because there were some cameran angle problems in the game at times
